The Next-Gen Firewall is an important component in most company networks and regulates data traffic between different networks.<\/strong>

For some years now, next-gen firewalls have been offering much more than a conventional firewall, which allows or blocks services.<\/strong><\/p>

The Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) recognises and prevents attacks in real time.

The Application Filter allows you to monitor and control applications that run over the network. For example, an application can be denied access to the network. This is the only way the company network can be sure that no guest or attacker is using an application on a third-party device and causing damage.<\/p>

The web filter is a security function that controls and restricts access to certain websites and content on the Internet. One of the main tasks of the web filter is to filter content. It doesn't help much if Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and co. are manually blocked in a company network if no social media should be allowed at all.
The content filter analyses the content of websites and assigns them to a website category. Entire website categories can be blocked in the content filter<\/p>

Firewalls in HA cluster mode are often required to ensure redundancy across all network components.\u00a0We offer next-gen firewalls from Securepoint and Sophos.
