Microsoft has officially announced that support for Windows 10 will end on 14 October 2025. This does not mean that the operating system will suddenly stop working from this date - but it does mean that the use of Windows 10 will change significantly after this date - especially in terms of security and compatibility.

From mid-July, Microsoft will be serious about phasing out the Mail and Calendar app on Windows 10 and Windows 11: the app will be switched to read-only mode, meaning that no new emails can be sent or received. Outdated clients will also be decommissioned on other platforms.
