Swiss company donates laptops for aid project in Africa

A Swiss company shows heart and commitment: a total of 13 old but functional laptops have been donated to an aid organisation in Africa. These devices, which are no longer needed in the company, will make a valuable contribution to schools and educational projects in the future.

The IT company Flying Supporter is supporting this great project with its expertise and commitment. It is responsible for the complete refurbishment of the devices - from cleaning and installing new software to ensuring that the laptops are in perfect condition. In addition, Flying Supporter also organises the shipping of the devices to their destination in Africa, and all that free of charge.

This joint project shows how discarded technology can be given a second chance and have a major impact at the same time. Thanks to this donation, children and young people in Africa will be able to gain access to digital education - an important step towards creating prospects and building bridges to the future.

A big thank you to everyone involved for this inspiring initiative!

  1. Many thanks for the wonderful work that you are doing. I was wondering if my small children's charity in Zimbabwe could get some laptops too so that we could help equip a computer laboratory at one of the schools that we support.

  2. bonjour cher partenaire

Our organisation's mission is to provide assistance to vulnerable people, especially orphans, women, disabled people and women with disabilities through community development and vocational training initiatives. We live in a very poor, recolonised, inhospitable and sinister neighbourhood in the capital of Congo, where there is no hospital, no centre for education or vocational training for young people, and no school.
The population survives on less than a dollar an hour. The young women give themselves very early to marriage and prostitution, that's why there are so many young women in the neighbourhood, especially in our NGO, who don't study, more than 45,000 million children do not study due to the lack of schools that our government has not thought to build, sanitary and educational insecurity in the neighbourhood.Because the children are studying or taking medical care, they have to travel 30 km from the capital. We have a centre for professional training called Carmel, but unfortunately it does not have the training materials for the professional training of the young people in this vulnerable neighbourhood. We organise training in the following areas:
    - Hôtellerie et restauration
    - coupe et couture
    - esthétique et coiffure
    - informatique
    - Make - up
