Flying Supporter at the annual ManageEngine partner meeting in India: AD360 becomes a Converged Platform

This year, Flying Supporter GmbH is once again represented at the annual ManageEngine partner meeting in India. Our CEO is on site right now to exchange ideas directly with the manufacturing team, partners and experts and to pick up the most important technological developments at an early stage.

And there are some exciting new features.

ManageEngine continues to grow: over 70 products in the portfolio

ManageEngine now offers over 70 products for IT management, security, identity, monitoring and automation. Many companies already use individual solutions from this range, for example for Active Directory Management, M365 administration or SharePoint administration.

A clear path has been taken in recent years: related products have increasingly been grouped together in bundles. This was a good step, but with one caveat: the individual components continued to run largely independently despite the bundle.

From 2026: Bundles become true integration - everything becomes one system

With the new strategy, ManageEngine is now taking a decisive step forward. From 2026, the previously separate components will not only be bundled, but also directly connected with each other in technical terms.

The goal: A Converged Identity Platform, in which the different modules no longer exist side by side, but are organised like a single product behaviour.

This applies in particular to AD360: ADManager Plus is evolving from a single product in a bundle to a central framework on which other modules are directly based, including

  • Identity Governance
  • Access Management
  • Privileged Access Management

Agentic AI: moving away from rigid rules towards goal-oriented identity orchestration

Another focus is the topic of AI. ManageEngine does not integrate AI as a „feature on top“, but as a real lever for automation, analyses and decisions.

The focus is on Agentic AIInstead of classic rule-based automation (as we often know it from scripting), it is about target-driven processes.

The admin defines, for example:

  • a goal (e.g. «Ensure that new users receive appropriate authorisations»)
  • Permitted system actions (apps, APIs, approval flows)
  • The platform then takes over automatically:
  • Analysing incoming identity data
  • Evaluation of patterns and context
  • Classification of access risks
  • Dynamic execution or approval workflows

Why this surpasses PowerShell by far

PowerShell is and remains a powerful tool, but it has clear limits:

  • it is script-based, not platform-based
  • it does not offer native risk analysis or context assessment
  • it scales poorly with complex approval and governance processes
  • Reporting and auditability are often complex to replicate

The new ManageEngine platform approaches offer much more here: the range of functions and analysis options exceed what PowerShell can achieve, many times over.

Conclusion: Strong reasons to switch to AD360

The direction is clear: ManageEngine is consistently bringing its products together, expanding the benefits through genuine platform integration and focussing on AI-based orchestration instead of rigid scripts.

This creates very convincing reasons to switch from classic PowerShell use to ManageEngine products such as AD360 from a security, governance and efficiency perspective.

If you want to know how AD360 can be introduced in your organisation (including migration, role model, workflows and reporting), we will be happy to support you.
